Buster changed from testing to stable, you can do the fix with this:

Code:
sudo apt update -y

Thanks Mikerr. That sorted out the update problem. Still cannot play .ts nor .mp4 files, but I can revert to the previous distribution for that.

FlintOS seems to have been acquired by another company. Download link no longer works; redirects to a press release about the acquisition.

Yes, flintOS was bought out, the tinkerboard version lives on as FlydeOS:

Hi,
It seems that the links to the debian based tinkeros are down. Is there any other repo from where this can be downloaded?

Thanks

Better than original with download mirrors all over the world:

TinkerOS Debian 2.0.8 has gone from the asus site,
but 2.0.11 is here, released 22/08/2019

https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/Li...11.img.zip

and I've made a discussion thread for it here:

Updated Armbian images and update (apt update && upgrade) to latest kernels (4.19.59, 4.4.190 and testing 5.2.y/5.3.y).

- fixed Rpi camera
- possible video acceleration addon
- added minimal Debian Buster image with root size around 500 Mb.

+ many small generic Armbian, new and updated wireless drivers, latest Wireguard or generic upstream kernel fixes.

Maybe the best tinkerboard image yet, i installed the acceleration add on.

libreoffice calc runs fast, it runs slow in the normal asus image.

youtube working fine

netflix works after i downloaded the latest widevine file from here

https://blog.vpetkov.net/2019/07/12/netf...-chromium/

no crashes so far.

i also have a pi4 and still prefer the tinkerboard, problems with pi4 are screen tearing in netflix, chromium and youtube.

ps nice html5 game to play on the tinkerboard with acceleration in  chromium

https://phoboslab.org/xtype/

ps had a problem with my mouse not moving
on start up, fixed by moving it to a different usb port

Which version did you use with the media script? I tried Armbian Bionic desktop legacy kernel 4.4.y. Itself is rock solid and polished. But once media script is added, Chromium seems to have random crashes. The TinkerOS feels smoother just by moving a window on desktop.
