10.1 inch 1280x800 HDMI LCD Screen
#1
Hello,

I was using TinkerOS_Debian V1.4 with 10.1 inch 1280x800 HDMI LCD Screen which i took from http://www.waveshare.com/10.1inch-hdmi-l...h-case.htm

It was working perfectly until upgrade newer version of TinkerOS (1.8).

Now, My LCD Screen is not working on TinkerOS_Debian V1.6 and TinkerOS_Debian V1.8 anymore. I have tested it also reverse back to TinkerOS_Debian V1.4 LCD Screen is started to working.

But, I want to work on latest version of OS if possible.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

You guys can you guide me to get this thing work ?

Thank you

Yes, well-known problem - see other thread for solutions modify DTB or try to patch kernel ...
I left this community in Aug 2017 due to ASUS bad product quality and ASUS community support that did not match my expectation.  Sad

I have a 10 inch 1280 800 IPS lcd panel purchased off ebay, with a separate HDMI driver board

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HDMI-LCD-drive...SwZQxW2Pzw

This worked fine with my PI3, and was part of a PI3 portable computer , I was hoping to use the tinker board with this, to improve speed.

The problem is on every linux image i have tried (i.e. Elar-systems, armbian, tinker os) they detect they screen and display an image, but I get a random black screen every now and again, it makes it unusable (my big lcd PC monitors work fine).
Does anyone have a simple solution to this?
