Compiling driver for Linaro OS
Hi all,

Distributor ID: Debian
Description:    Debian GNU/Linux 9.3 (stretch)
Release:        9.3
Codename:       stretch

Linux tinkerboard 4.4.71+ #1 SMP Thu Feb 22 18:23:31 CST 2018 armv7l GNU/Linux

I need to compile a new driver but the make command returns:

make modules -C /lib/modules/4.4.71+/build SUBDIRS=/home/linaro/LinuxDriver_V315_20180327
make[1]: *** /lib/modules/4.4.71+/build: No such file or directory.  Stop.
Makefile:10: recipe for target 'all' failed
make: *** [all] Error 2

The build folder is a link:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 69 Feb 22  2018 /lib/modules/4.4.71+/build -> /var/lib/jenkins/workspace/rockchip-rk3288-tinker-board-debian/kernel

and that folder doesn't exist.
I installed  linux-kernel-headers package but it did solve.
How can i proceed?

How can i proceed?

Start with Armbian. It will save you enormous amount of time.
Armbian. Lightweight Debian Stretch or Ubuntu Bionic for Tinker Board.

Unfortunately I cannot switch to other OS: Linaro is running in a large number of our machines on the market.

Should I compile the driver on Armbian and then move on Linaro?
I guess there should be some problems .. starting from the kernel version ...
