Can't get eMMC to work
#1
Hi al

got my brand new TBS

Installed latest 2.0.11 Debian 9 onto SD Card (32GB). Booted in MASKROM mode, all fine

then downloaded Raspberrymatic TBS image, dd onto eMMC (no errors).
Shutdown TBS, placed jumper into parking mode
powered it back up with no SD card nothing happens

booting back into SD card disk shows:

linaro@tinkerboard:~

Initially I tried (fresh from unpacking, no os installed, no SD card) to just connect it to my Mac via USB, but the eMMC never showed up as a UMS disk I could flash directly to.

anyone any tips what I'm doing wrong here?

Hi f0rd42:

I use the command below
sudo dd bs=4M if=<PATH>/20190821-tinker-board-linaro-stretch-alip-v2.0.11.img of=/dev/mmcblk1 status=progress && sync
My eMMC can be successfully boot.
Please try it.
Think you.
