Audio recording at 192kHz

The ASUS overview of this board states that it supports up to 192kHz/24-bit audio.  Is this for recording as well as playback?

Does the microphone input have a bias voltage?  I took a look at the schematic which doesn't reveal much about the mic interface.

I suppose that you are trying to get information about "Realtek ALC4040" USB-audio chip (usbid 0bda:481a) connected to audio TRRS jack.
The part of schematics with USB-audio chip is missing (and many more) and I found only one information on internet for ALC4040 (even no information @realtek):

• Stereo digital microphone and analog microphone inputs

It is driven by standard usb-audio drivers. If you simple parse usb-interface description you get sampling frequency options for output (44100, 48000, 96000, 176400, 192000) and for input (44100, 48000, 96000) in 16 and 24 bits.
